Record & Track Instances of
• Illegal Migration
• People Trafficking
• Small Boat Arrivals
MyBorder is a simple mobile application that enables people to record and track suspected instances of Illegal Immigration and People Trafficking in the UK. Documenting such activity enables us to identify areas of repeated abuse and share our evidence with the relevant civic authorities.
As a responsible organisation, myborder shall endeavour to share all evidence of suspicious activity with the relevant civic body if it is deemed suitable to do so by our moderating team.
We hope that one day, this unique body of evidence may be used to seek prosecution where necessary and deter those who attempt to abuse the coastline of the United Kingdom.
The My Border app does not require you to submit any personal information. MyBorder was deliberately designed in this way, ensuring users are able to register their concerns anonymously and securely.
Users may only post details relating to the location they are in at the time of posting. The only information we collect is:
• an image of the event or issue you wish to report
• the time, date and location (by GPS) of the event you witness
• a description of what you witness (only if you want to provide one)
Every submission is manually checked and submitted to the livemap upon verification by the moderating team. Any submissions regarded as of legitimate interest will be forwarded to official organisations, such as UK Border Force, or the relevant local authority.
We aim to ensure myborder.io is used as a valuable resource for those with genuine concern about the upkeep and safety of UK borders, and thank the general public for raising awareness of potential breaches of Britain’s security.
Disclaimer: myborder.io does not represent UK Border Force, The Police, The Home Office or any other civic authority. We are an independent organisation seeking to gather data and statistics on irregular migration, coastal pollution and any other activity that might impact UK border security and our coastline. The information we collect is available to myborder app users only. As a responsible organisation, we will endeavour to share any evidence with the relevant civic authority if it constitutes potential criminal activity or is deemed by us to be potentially detrimental to the UK coastal environment. Please note, we urge users to contact UK Border Force and local law enforcement directly if they witness any acts that may be considered potentially illegal.
